With Matt Stafford the only quarterback on bye you should (hopefully) be dealing with, lets take a look at some of the other matchups on our slate for week 11. Obviously, "Must-start" QBs won't be included on this. Start Tom Brady.
Start Em:
Mac Jones, Patriots vs Falcons
Normally, I advise against teams coming off of short rest. But when that team is the Falcons, who haven't fielded an impressive defense all season, it makes playing Mac Jones very appealing. This is still a primarily run first offense, but every game this coaching staff is gaining more trust in Jones. I think his ceiling this week is a low end QB1, and you can do a lot worse with streaming QBs.
Ryan Tannehill, Titans vs Texans
The hottest team in the NFL meets the arguably worst team (sorry Lions). While the game script and overall lack of passing attempts might be a worry, Tannehill has historically had his way vs Houston, going for over 28 fantasy points in both games last season. There is even a chance this game will be closer than expected with a rested Texans team, which would only increase his ceiling here. I'd slot him comfortably as a QB1, unless the game is out of hand at halftime.
Joe Burrow, Bengals vs Raiders
Normally I'd put Burrow in the "must-start" category, but after an abysmal game vs the Browns and a bye, people might need some convincing. Before the blowout defeat to the Browns, Burrow had gone for 20+ fantasy points in 4 out of 5 games, so start him with confidence against a Raiders team that just got gashed vs the Chiefs.
Deep Sleeper: Justin Fields, Bears vs Ravens
I really liked what I saw out of Fields vs the Steelers two weeks ago. Despite the loss he looked as confident as ever, and with a bye week to prepare, I think he has a chance to be a top 10 QB this week. The Ravens D has been susceptible to big plays, and I think Fields converts on at least one of those for a solid week.
Sit Em
Kirk Cousins, Vikings vs Packers
Basically everything here is setting up for a poor game. Divisional road game? Check. 8-2 opponent? Check. Said 8-2 opponent just shut out Russell Wilson for the first time in the history of recorded time? Triple check. While I don't think he'll be Matt Ryan bad, I don't see his ceiling being worth the risk here. Speaking of...
Matt Ryan, Falcons vs Patriots
Here is a list of QBs with more points than Matt Ryan last week: Joe Flacco, Case Keenum, Brian Hoyer, Taysom Hill, and most painfully, Jared Goff. Even Chris Streveler almost caught up. I don't even know who that is! In all seriousness, I don't trust this offense on short rest, or in general for this matter. Especially against a stout Patriots defense.
Joe Flacco, Jets vs Dolphins
Just don't do it. You're better than this.
*Bust Alert* - Carson Wentz, Colts vs Bills
Somehow Wentz only mustered up 7 fantasy points vs a lowly Jaguars defense, which does not leave us with much confidence in him vs Buffalo. The ceiling here is not high enough to justify the fact that Buffalo has shut down opposing QBs all year, and I'd leave him on your bench until brighter days. AKA until they play the Texans again.
